Maraella Winery & Vineyard

Ammeneties

When Jim Lee developed heart problems, his physician told him to drink wine. His sons, Scott and John, sent him on a trip to the Napa Valley to celebrate his retirement, and he spent the time talking to people about growing grapes. The winery name is created from the first two letters of the middle name of each of Jim's four granddaughters. Maraella now has about 3 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon and makes Chardonnay from purchased grapes. The muscadines planted around the winery will be made into a sparkling wine. Maraella plans to feature local products in the tasting room.

Hours:
Wine Tastings:
Monday-Thursday: 11:00 AM-6:00 PM
Friday and Saturday: 11:00 AM-7:00 PM
